Corrugated Cardboard: The most commonly used material for mailer boxes. Corrugated cardboard boxes are rigid enough for shipping and safe transit, and are also budgeted solution. It is considered as the centre ground between cardboard and rigid, both in terms of quality and pricing.
The interior of an apparel box is as important as the exterior for a fashion brand. What the customer sees when the lid opens is the first moment of contact with the actual product.
Tissue paper — standard interior layer over the garment. Available in white, black, and custom colours. Printed or plain. Custom tissue paper with a repeated logo print is one of the most cost-effective brand touch points in apparel packaging.
Ribbon — attached to the interior of the lid or wrapped around the box exterior. Used for gifting formats and premium retail. Available in custom colors and an option to have it personalized with a printed repeated logo on it as well.
Thank-you cards and inserts — printed cards placed inside the box with brand messaging, care instructions, or a personalised note panel.
Interior lid printing — the inside face of the lid is printed with your brand, a pattern, or a message. Visible the moment the box opens. Popular with fashion brands that want a branded surprise on opening.
We supply custom apparel boxes at wholesale quantities of 100 units per design. For fashion brands with multiple styles — different colours, fits, or seasonal prints — each design counts as a separate run of 100 units. Brands ordering multiple designs simultaneously can be scheduled in combined production runs, which we advise on at the quoting stage.
Wholesale apparel box buyers include:
Fashion brands — retail packaging for clothing sold in boutiques, department stores, and online. Rigid gift boxes for premium lines, cardboard shirt boxes for core retail.
DTC clothing brands — branded mailer boxes for direct-to-consumer shipment, with interior printing and tissue for an unboxing moment that photographs well and drives social sharing.
Influencer and PR agencies — gifting boxes for brand collaborations, PR seeding, and launch campaigns. The magnetic closure rigid box in a custom size with tissue, ribbon, and a card is the standard format.
Corporate gifting agencies — branded clothing gift sets for corporate gifting — shirts, polos, knitwear — in a rigid gift box with company logo, ordered per campaign from 100 units.
Subscription clothing services — regular monthly runs of branded boxes for subscription apparel, styled sets, and personal shopping services.
Event and uniform suppliers — boxed garments for team uniforms, event merchandise, and branded corporate wear.
What Apparel box style is right for a fashion brand selling premium clothing?
A magnetic closure rigid box is most commonly used by premium fashion brands. It can be folded as well and comes as flat-packed, saving storage and shipping of the boxes.
What size boxes do you use for apparel boxes?
All sizes are fully custom. You provide your garment dimensions when folded — length, width, and depth — and we build the box to fit without excess space that causes the garment to shift. We don’t have generic standard-sized boxes.
Do you supply tissue paper and ribbon alongside the Custom apparel boxes?
Yes. Custom tissue paper — plain white, plain black, or printed with your logo — and ribbon are available as add-ons to any apparel box order.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom apparel boxes?
100 units per design. Each distinct size or artwork counts as a separate design. However, you can get wholesale prices for a higher quantity order. Higher quantity leads to a lower price per unit.
How long does production take for custom apparel boxes?
Standard production is 12–15 business days after artwork approval.
